55/25 Passes the Senate

I’m two days late with this news, but the state Senate has passed 55/25 legislation, joining the Assembly. The bill now goes to Gov. Spitzer for his signature.

    Well it has now been over ten days…has Gov Spitzer signed 55/25 into law yet???

    I don’t understand why this bill sailed through the NYS Assembly, sailed through the NYS Senate, and, then, stalls at what all of us thought would be the easiest part of the whole deal!

    Two week delay. Now it’s signed. Look for info on paying in, in your school, soon.

    O.K. I went to the Comm. of 100 on March 9th 2010 there was no talk of this bill being signed or passed.
    Most legislators were in favor but again …they had not voted…anyone please clarify for me
