Without redirect scripts or warning the NYC Department of Education migrated its website from the domain nycenet.edu to schools.nyc.gov last week. If you have bookmarks to reference information on the DOE’s website, you can replace the nycenet.edu in the website address with schools.nyc.gov leaving everything else in the address the same.
As an example the Department of Human Resources web address has been changed from http://www.nycenet.edu/Offices/DHR/ to http://schools.nyc.gov/offices/dhr/. From our research, it seems that most, though not all, web addresses conform to this standard.
