By the way, were the UFT political contributions reflective of this last contract. If so, the UFT should STOP contributing immediately. Perhaps Abramoff received more for his contributions than the UFT received for theirs. Please !!! Please !!!

Abramoff has a connection with Charles Rangel, how come that is not mentioned in the article? In fact Abramoff is associated with many sleazy congressional Republicans, Democrats, Liberals, and Conservatives alike. Granted, Abramoff is associated with many doubious causes, Indian casinos, offshore businesses, etc. However, many lobbyists, by the very nature of their jobs are paid to represent some very shady causes. That's where the money is. By the way Cleo, eh Leo, how come you didn't complain about Hillary Clinton's silence as a paid director for six years by Wal-Mart while the company didn't give their employees health benefits? Finally, lets keep the articles focused on education, not on the political causes by educrats that are clueless about the classroom.
