On a different topic, there are two must read op-ed pieces on the Employee Free Choice Act: “Reinforcing Labor’s Right To Organize” by the dean of labor historians, David Brody, in the San Diego Union Tribune, and “A Shield Against Corporate Bullying” by Lance Compa, author of the Human Rights Watch report on violations of American workers’ freedom of association, in the Washington Post.
