Make that union, not uninon...I realize commenting of poor spelling loses it's effect when the post is misspelled.

Why is the site called "EDWIZE" What's the WIZE part? The last time I checked the world is WISE, maybe if teachers had a background in English they might deserve more respect instead of being tools of their socialist uninon who only care about union dues and not the children.

Realist, I'm sorry there isn't at the moment, though if we find a way to install that feature, we'll make a quick announcement.

To edwize admin:
Is there a method that allows a member to edit his/her comments after one has clicked and entered "submit comment?"

How come there is nothing in the papers about about the groups of F-status teachers who've been fired by Bloomberg and have rec'ved NO support from UFT "so called" president Randi. Sandi Feldman or the Late Al Shanker would not have let this happen. Nothing is being done to assist us. There isn't even a mention of it in the Daily News. It just shows how much POWER Bloomberg and the UFT carry with the NYC newspapers: the truth won't be printed. The sad part it will hurt our MINORITY STUDENTS in the low performing schools. I am a math educator with proven results- but i changed my license from social studies to math. Believe me the UFT did not advise me in any way when i consulted them for help. To make matters worse, each time i write Randi for help she never answers. The UFT

Dear Curious: You obviously do not understand the purpose for which this weblog was intended. Wal-Marts failing its employees through heavy handed tactics, and policy making is the same thing New York City teachers are going through at the hands of our management. Management being Bloomberg,Klein, etc. Think about it because we are not socialists merely professionals who want to be recognized for what we do every single day, and have been doing for over two years without a contract. I think we are in the same boat as Wal-Mart employees and heading towards the same iceberg.

What does this have to do with the goal of educating children? Don't we have enough on our hands to not distract ourselves with miscellaneous left-wing politics? Is it possible for someone to be a good teacher AND believe that Wal-Mart is a good company? Or is this union only for socialists?
