And everyone got involved because raising awareness for breast cancer is a worldwide campaign. On October 23, 2009, Pink became the most pronounced color for this day. Pink, the symbol of love, to honor loved ones. Pink, the symbol of hope, to support the breast cancer survivors. And Pink, the symbol of breast cancer awareness. The entire month of October 2009, was a success. Earlier in the month P.S, 75X staff raised dollars to fund cancer research and cancer support programs. Ms David, Ms Tirado, and Ms Montalvo also walked 3 miles for the cure at Orchard Beach Rally in the Bronx, NY. These are some of the powerful strides to eradicate cancer in a lifetime.
