Joe Williams of DFER calls Robert Jackson, the African-American head of the NYC Council’s Education Committee and lead plaintiff on the Campaign for Fiscal Equity lawsuit, a pimp — all because he spoke at a UFT vigil.
UPDATE:
You can’t make these things up.
Eduwonk’s Rotherham opines that simply reporting what Joe Williams wrote constitutes an “attack” on Joe.
And we are given a discourse on how pimping [the verb] is profoundly different from being a pimp [the noun], as a prelude to announcing that Randi Weingarten, this author and everyone else he doesn’t like at the UFT pimp.
Incredibly, after having called Robert Jackson a pimp, Joe Williams emerged as the class as the group: he actually takes responsibility for what he said.
