Ok OK, you are doing a blog. In the short time that Edwize has been in existence, there have been no less than 6 entries with THE BLOG as the main subject. I hope that soon you will get over the excitement of being in the news and post on other education-related news. Also, please look around at other blogs to learn a bit about brevity. If I want to read the UFT's entire position on Wal-Mart I am sure there are other sources. Other than that, I look forward to reading ;-)

Hi. I think this blog is a great idea. Are there bios for the writers of this blog, and do the writers identify themselves in each post?

I dislike the elaborate log-in, however. And I don't like threaded comments.

I also have to applaud you all for jumping into the conversation. I really think that sharing ideas, concerns, criticisms is the best way to better teaching and learning.

And, two letters to the editor in Saturday's Post - one from Randi Weingarten, the other from NYC teacher Ron Isaac - provide Edwize with still more publicity. Can't wait until school opens, and things gear up even more!
