Welcome FACE Talk to the Blogosphere

Our brothers and sisters at the AFT have started a new blog, FACE Talk, as part of their Faculty and College Excellence (FACE) campaign. You can find it at http://aftblog.blogs.com/face

Faculty and College Excellence is a nationwide legislative campaign aimed at getting colleges and university to employ full-time, tenure-track faculty members instead of switching to contingent faculty. A growing number of faculty members work long hours teaching multiple sections every semester, and still barely make a living wage. Less than a third of faculty members are tenured or on the tenure track – a number that keeps dropping.

Launching a new blog isn’t easy, so check them out and leave a friendly word.
